1948: delivered to "Mercantile Lighterage Ltd" at London (GBR)
(GBR flag, regd London, ON 182925)
19xx: To "Cory Tank Lighterage Ltd" at London (GBR)
1958: sank on her way round to the river Medway with tank craft in rough weather, she shipped water down her exhaust pipe (which was located just forward of her name on aft). The crew were lost.
1980: broken up by "Point Wharf" at Blackwall (GBR)

Accident was 25th February, 1958. My Dad was the Tug Skipper on Hawkstone.

What's sad about it the the hands let the craft go in the rough and they went aground and were found safe and sound.

The accident was about early 1958.
