The three stunning vessels owned by Thames Launches broke adrift from there moorings in floods during the winter of 1963. Seen here after they had slammed against Richmond Bridge. The Princess beatrice took the full brunt of The King & Petersham during the impact and sank. The King & Petersham were salvaged and repaired but sadly the Princess Beatrice was a total loss and had to be broken up
