Some traditions change though, the fancy mugs, we had PLA mugs and KOR plates, The Mate of the Hembo told me it stood for Public Lavatory Attendants and the Kings Own Rifles, took a little while before I found out it was Port of London Authority and Kent Oil Refinery.
